Get Creative with Styling the Bottom of Your Tree Don’t worry about overdoing it…you want a glam tree. If you’re looking to save coins, you can even score a unique find in the isle of the Big Lots Christmas decorations! I found a beautiful gold and silver pair of glittered metal pinecones at World Market for only $6! Again, just look for things that have lots of sparkle. Places like HomeGoods and Amazon are great. You can easily find glam christmas trees, decor, and even glam christmas cards to give you the look for less. Make sure you look for ornaments and other items that scream these things! I love to shop Z Gallerie, but you don’t really even have to spend a ton of money to make your tree look great. Things like rhinestones, glitter, pearls, shine, and high gloss are what give glam it’s name. This is definitely needed for building up your glam christmas tree. It goes without saying that with glam style, you want to have lots and lots of sparkle. If you really want to challenge yourself, try a color combination that is high contrast, like pink with navy blue, or even mixed metals. Overall, the goal is just to make sure that your colors pair well with each other. However, you can totally get non-traditional. Typically, tones of gold, silver and white are associated with glam, and this is always the easiest for tree décor. The truth is, you really can do anything. There are so many options to choose from, and I always just have to be sure I nail it. This is usually the biggest challenge for me since I’m so indecisive. At the end of the day, A unique tree serves as the foundation for your glam Christmas tree masterpiece, so get creative! Last year we purchased the 9ft version of this flocked tree for our home. For a true upscale glam look, I keep my eye on flocked trees, and trees that are silver or gold. Plus, there are so many options to turn sparkling and shiny faux trees into glam x-mas trees. I prefer faux trees, only because they are much more manageable and don’t require watering, or cleaning up the pines once they’ve fallen. Pick a tree that’s not your normal run of the mill tree.
